Potato Fritters For Fasting (Vrat: Singhara-Aloo Pakode)/vibsk-37
Ingredients:

| 1. | Boiled Potatoes | : | 2-3 medium size |
| 2. | Water Chestnut Flour | : | 1 small bowl |
| 3. | Roasted Cumin Powder | : | ½ tsp |
| 4. | Rock Salt (Sendha Namak) | : | To taste |
| 5. | Fresh Coriander Leaves | : | 2 tsp |
| 6. | Groundnut Oil | : | For deep frying |
Method:
- Add fresh coriander leaves, roasted cumin seeds, rock salt (sendha namak) to water-chestnut flour (singhad atta) and mix well.
- Now, add water little by little to this mix and make thick batter. Keep aside for 10 minutes.
- Cut the boiled potatoes in cubes and keep aside.
- Heat the oil in wok on high flame. Then bring down the flame to medium.
- Dip the potatoes in the batter and fry on medium flame.
- Stir and fry fritters from all sides. Fry till golden brown and crispy.
Serve hot with fresh coriander-mint chutney (vrat).
