1. | Corn Flour: Coarse in texture & yellow in Colour (Makki Ka atta) | : | ½ kg |
2. | Luke Warm Water | : | To Knead |
3. | Clarified Ghee/Butter | : | 2-3 tbsp |
Method:
- To bind the flour add lukewarm water to corn flour little by little.
- Knead the flour till its smooth in texture.
- Cover it with wet muslin cloth & keep aside for 10 minutes.
- Before making chapattis/rotis knead again for 1 minute.
- Take tennis ball size dough & make smooth dough balls.
- With the help of rolling pin, make round disc shape chapattis of 3” diameter approx.
- Or can apply water on your palms & make round chapattis rolling the dough ball between your palms.
- Place the rolled chapatti on a heated griddle & roast from both sides.
- When roasted & cooked apply clarified ghee/butter on the chapattis.
Serve hot Makke Ki Roti topped with big dollop of butter & Sarson ka Saag.
