Tapioca Pearls/Sago/Sabudana Vade for Vrat/vibsk-36
Ingredients:

| 1. | Tapioca pearls/Sago (Sabudana) | : | 100 g (soaked in water for 3-4 hrs.)(100 g in 100 ml water) |
| 2. | Roasted Groundnuts | : | 50 g |
| 3. | Boiled Potatoes | : | 8-9 small size |
| 4. | Curry Leaves | : | 10-12 |
| 5. | Roasted Cumin seeds | : | 1 ½ tsp (optional) |
| 6. | Green and Red Chillies | : | 2-3 |
| 7. | Rock Salt (Sendha Namak) | : | To taste |
| 8. | Fresh Coriander Leaves | : | 1 small bowl |
| 9. | Coconut Oil | : | For deep frying |
Method:
- In a big bowl put coriander leaves, green chillies, rock salt (sendha namak), crushed-roasted cumin seeds, roasted groundnuts and roughly chopped curry leaves. Keep aside.
- Mash the boiled potatoes and add it to the bowl. Mix well.
- Now add soaked tapioca pearls/sago and mix well again.
- Make small patties and keep aside.
- Heat oil in a wok on high flame. Put a little sago mix in oil, if it comes up immediately, the oil is hot enough for frying. Bring the flame to medium high.
- Slide the patties in wok carefully. Put in 2-3 patties first, let them fry a little then add more to the wok.
- With spatula, gently splash oil all over the patties. When the patties are fried from one side, flip them and fry the other side too.
- Fry till golden brown and crispy.
Serve hot with Vrat Chutney (Fresh Coriander, Mint (Pudina) & Roasted Groundnut).
