Coconut Chutney/Dip/vibsk-62

1. | Raw Coconut | : | 1 |
2. | Green Chillies | : | 4-6 |
3. | Garlic Cloves | : | 6-8 (small) |
4. | Ginger | : | 1″ piece |
5. | Curry Leaves | : | 20-25 |
6. | Curd | : | 3-4 tsp |
7. | Roasted Ground Nuts | : | 2 tbsp |
8. | Mustard Seeds | : | 1 tsp |
9. | Salt | : | To taste |
Method:
- Cut green chillies coarsely.
- In a grinder, add coconut, green chillies, roasted ground nuts, garlic, ginger (cut in small pieces) & curry leaves (5-6).
- Add water & grind to make fine paste.
- Add salt & curd. Mix well.
- For tempering: Heat oil in a tempering pan & add mustard seeds & curry leaves.
- When fried, pour it over the chutney. Mix well.
Serve with Idli/Dosa/Vade/Uttapam/Cheela etc.
