Puri/vibsk-44

Ingredients:

 1. Whole Wheat Flour : 400 g
 2. Clarified Ghee : 2 tsp
 3. Luke-warm Water : To knead
 4. Salt : ½ tsp
 5. Oil : For deep frying

Method:

  1. Add salt and clarified ghee (desi ghee) to whole wheat flour. Mix well.
  2. Add water and knead. Make tight dough. Keep aside for 10 minutes before making puris.
  3. After 10 minutes the dough is soft.
  4. Take a little dough and make a soft ball.
  5. Apply ghee on the rolling surface. With the help of rolling pin, make a small disc.
  6. Roll out 5-6 puris and keep aside.
  7. Heat oil in a wok on high flame. Take a small piece of dough and put it in the heated oil, if it comes up immediately, the oil is ready for frying the puris.
  8. Bring down the flame to medium. Gently slide in puris in the heated oil and fry.
  9. When one side is light brown and puri is inflated, flip gently and fry the other side too.
  10. Take out of the wok when fried both sides. Fry all the puris. Puris are ready.

Serve hot with Dry black Grams/Chhole/Potato Curry/Masala Aloo and any other vegetable of your choice.
