Leftover Khichadi Puri/vibsk-32

 1. Leftover Dalia Khichadi/Any Leftover Khichadi : 1 bowl
 2. Fenugreek Leaves : 1 bowl (finely chopped)
 3. Green Chillies : 2-3 (chopped)
 4. Clarified Ghee : 2 tsp
 5. Red Chilli Powder : 1 tsp
 6. Turmeric Powder : 1 tsp
 7. Coriander Powder : 1 tsp
 8. Carom Seeds : ½ tsp
 9. Whole Wheat Flour : 200 g approx.
10. Oil : For deep frying

Method:

  1. To make puri from leftover khichadi (broken wheat and lentil/any khichadi): add fenugreek leaves, green chillies, red chilli powder, salt, turmeric powder, coriander powder, carom seeds and clarified ghee in it. Mix well.
  2. Now, add whole wheat flour to it and make tight dough.
  3. Apply oil on rolling surface. Take a little dough and make a smooth dough ball.
  4. With rolling pin, roll it in a small circular disc. Roll 8-10 puries and keep aside.
  5. Heat oil in a wok. Turn the flame to medium high.
  6. Fry puries till golden brown on medium high flame.

Serve hot with Dip/Pickle /Tea.
