Chicken Lollypops/vibsk-54

1. | Chicken (Lollypop Cut) | : | 8 pieces |
2. | Egg | : | 1 (beaten) |
3. | All Purpose Flour (Maida) | : | 100 g |
4. | Coriander Powder | : | 1 & ½ tsp |
5. | Garam Masala | : | 1 tsp |
6. | Salt | : | To taste |
7. | Turmeric Powder | : | 1 tsp |
8. | Red Chilli Powder | : | 2 tsp |
9. | Edible Oil | : | For deep frying |
Method:
- Add coriander powder, garam masala, turmeric powder, red chilli powder and salt to chicken pieces. Mix thoroughly. Keep aside.
- Add water in all-purpose flour and make thick batter. Add salt, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, coriander powder and garam masala in it. Mix well. Keep aside.
- Heat oil for deep frying in a wok/deep pan. Turn the flame to medium.
- Take chicken lollypop piece 1 at a time, dip it in beaten egg.
- Then, cover it with batter. Slide it in heated oil gently. Keep the flame medium.
- Slide 2-3 chicken pieces. Stir. When they are firm, add more chicken pieces to the wok.
- Fry on medium flame. Stir time to time. Fry till golden brown and crispy.
- When done, take them out on kitchen towel/tissue paper.
- Wrap the foil around chicken lollypop’s bone part.
Serve hot with Sauce/Green Chutney/Red Chutney.
