Pan Grilled Fish/vibsk-57

Ingredients:

 1. Seer fish : 800 g
 2. Garam Masala : 1 & ½ tsp
 3. Coriander Powder : 2 tsp
 4. Ginger-Garlic Paste : 4 tsp
 5. Black Pepper Powder : 1 tsp
 6. Salt : To taste
 7. Turmeric Powder : 1 tsp
 8. Red Chilli Powder : 1 & ½ tsp
 9. Edible Oil : 2-3 tsp
10. Lemon : 1
  For Salad
1. Green Chillies : For Salad
2. Onions : 2
3. Tomatoes : 2
4. Cucumber : 1

Method:

  1. In a bowl, take ginger-garlic paste and add coriander powder, garam masala, red chilli powder, black pepper powder, turmeric powder and salt. Mix well and keep aside.
  2. Squeeze 1 lemon juice on the seer fish pieces.
  3. Then, cover them with mixed masala.
  4. After covering with masala, keep it in refrigerator for 20 minutes to marinate.
  5. In the mean-while, cut cucumber, tomatoes, onions in round shape and green chillies in long pieces for salad.
  6. After 20 minutes, heat oil in a shallow pan. Bring down the flame to medium.
  7. Add fish pieces to the pan. After 1 minute, bring down the flame to low.
  8. When done on one side, flip and grill the other side too.
  9. When both sides are done, take them out of the pan.
  10. Grill all the fish pieces in the same way.
  11. In another pan, grill sliced onions and tomatoes a little bit.

Serve hot with grilled onions-tomatoes, cucumber, green chillies, lemon and mint dip.
