Sama Rice Upma For Fasting/vibsk-41

 Ingredients:

 1. Sama Rice : 100 g (boiled)
 2. Groundnuts : 50 g (roasted/soaked)
 3. Tomatoes : 2 medium size (chopped)
 4. Green Chillies : 2 (chopped)
 5. Fresh Coriander : 2 tsp (for garnishing)
 6. Curry Leaves : 10-12
 7. Groundnut Oil : 1 tbsp
 8. Rock Salt (sendha namak) : To taste
 9. Cumin Seeds : 1 tsp
10. Lemon : ½ (optional)

Method:

  1. Heat oil in a wok and add cumin seeds.
  2. Add green chillies & curry leaves and roast it.
  3. Add tomatoes. Stir and cook. Add roasted groundnuts and cook.
  4. Add rock salt (sendha namak). Mix well.
  5. Add steamed sama rice to cooked mixture and mix it well.
  6. Bring down the flame to low, cook for 2-3 minutes.
  7. Upma is ready now. Put the flame to off.
  8. Garnish with finely chopped coriander leaves. Squeeze in ½lemon (optional).

Sama Rice Upma for fasting is ready. Serve hot.
